PATRICK MAYANGI DECLARED PC CANDIDATE IN OTTAWA-VANIER
Published on January 29, 2020VANIER, ON, January 21, 2020 – The Ontario PC Party announced its candidate for the upcoming byelection for the riding of Ottawa-Vanier today. Patrick Mayangi, a local community leader, will represent the Ontario PC Party in this byelection.
“Premier Doug Ford and the PC team have been working hard with people from across the province to make Ontario better. I am excited for the opportunity to represent the PC Party in Ottawa-Vanier and to work with our community to make a more prosperous Ontario,” Mayangi stated. “I look forward to knocking on the doors of my neighbours and hearing their concerns.”

Mayangi holds a Master’s Degree from Carleton University, and is fluent in four languages, including French. His international experience includes working in collaboration with the Federal Republic of Germany and the Canadian Association of University Teachers of German (CAUTG) as an English language assistant in Berlin.
Throughout his international travels, Mayangi always found time for his community. Whether it was through volunteering, mentoring, or engaging with other community leaders, Patrick has always demonstrated that he will be a strong voice for the movement to make Ottawa more inclusive.
